STUDENT TRAINING:
The Assam Road Research and Training Institute has been imparting training to the Technical Students during summer and winter vacation as per the request from the Head of the Department or Co-ordinator of the Civil Engineering Department. Mostly the training period is approximately 10 to 15 days in which there is a practical training on Quality Control of the Construction Materials in the various section like Soil –Survey, Soil, Aggregate, Cement and Bitumen. As per the request of the trainees, field visit to the construction site are also conducted.
The students of the respective institution have to apply for the training through the Head of the Civil Engineering Department or the co-ordinator of the institution to the Chief Engineer PWD (Roads) or to the Director, Assam Road Research and Training Institute, PWRD.
